Getting to Know the Owner and Her Motivation to Succeed.

Hey everyone, it's me, Leatha Marie!

I'm so excited to share my very FIRST blog with y'all. I wasn't sure what to write about at first, but then I thought about why I started my business in the first place. So, here's the story!

Like a lot of folks, I wanted a side gig alongside my day job because, let's face it, one job just doesn't cut it these days. But here's the thing – I don't have any special talents, and I wasn't looking to work too hard for a little extra cash.

One night, I was wide awake at 2 a.m., browsing YouTube, and I stumbled upon a video about stuffed balloons. I was blown away because I'd never seen stuff inside a balloon before – how did they even do that? My curiosity was piqued, and I realized there was so much more to balloons than I'd ever imagined.

After doing a bunch of research, I decided to ditch the stuffed balloons idea because it seemed too complicated and costly. Instead, I focused on the services I now offer.

What started as a money-making scheme turned into a hobby that gave me a real sense of purpose. I wasn't just a mom, an employee, or someone's partner – I felt like an individual again. I had something more exciting to look forward to than the usual daily grind. I hadn't realized how much I'd boxed myself in, and it felt amazing to break free. Taking my business seriously has led me to join the Chamber of Commerce, connect with other artists who share my love and passion, and even join a mentorship program.
